Overreach by Banks & Government

Every day more and more people on social media are posting about what they say are infringements on basic rights. There has been a marked increase in 2025 alone with comments relating to two particular subjects; (i) increasing restrictions on Banking services and (ii) the actions and inactions of Governments and public servants from local to national levels.

Both the Banks and Governments appear, alarmingly,  to have rapidly and silently (maybe even secretly!) adopted a policy of "complete lack of transparency" - towards us; their customers and citizens.

And, it is happening in many, many countries! with Canada, UK, Australia, just the tip of the iceberg.

Some of the most vocal subjects include; 

Banks: Banks restricting cash withdrawals; Banks demanding "advance notice" and "documented purpose" for cash withdrawals over a relatively low limit (say GBP 1,000- or $1,000-) Banks restricting money transfers; Banks demanding excessive private information; Banks threatening account closures when customers complain.

Governments: Digitisation of all 'money'; Removal of "cash" from the system; Implementing 'Sovereign' crypto currency; showing increasing tax preference to large Corporations over individuals; showing preference to migrants, especially illegals, over locals for housing, social benefits, financial support etc; ever increasing indirect taxes and fines; Orwellian style Policing powers to quell dissent or argument from law abiding citizens; demands that citizens "accept" all faiths and religions and their cultural belief systems - with zero integration to the local/national culture.

The above are but to name a few! 

When questioned publicly or by the media the answers provided are either dismissive or defy logic - such as;

Banks: Typical answer; " These new 'rules or restrictions or requirements' are to protect customers from fraud and to comlpy with money laundering regulations"

[ We should note here; they have done nothing to make the international Tax Havens ''comply with fraud and money laundering regulations" in respect of the Trillions (yes! with a T!)  of dollars parked in those jurisdictions!]

Governments: Typical answer; "These are new rules/regulations/laws and you must comply or be penalised".

OR

No answer at all.

[ Here we ask a question! When were these new rules, regulations and laws passed and gazetted?  AND Why were we, as citizens, not a) consulted and/or b) formally informed of the implementation ?  Why the secrecy?]

Notice the word "Comply" comes up every time !!

'Comply' is a dangerous word, especially when it applies to ALL of us !  According to dictionaries and thesaurus the closest synonym is "Obey"!

The most notable recent time 'Comply' was used was during the Covid-19 Pandemic - for two (2) years or more.

Do we or do we not live under the rules of Democracy? 

Or is that just a dream to be 'perceived' by the masses! And 'sold' to all of us as a reality TV show drama being "acted out" every day, by the Media, Governments, the WEF, and large wealthy Corporations.

Maybe we all, the masses, need to get our focus back on the reality of what is happening every day, instead of shrugging our shoulders and staying distracted by TV and Social Media.

Remember folks: the Real Power rests with we the People. But only if we join together and use it effectively to protect ourselves from the tyranny of subtle yet forced ongoing 'compliance'.
